Dear Friends,
Did you know that over 60% of the children in the United States are cared for by someone other than their parents during the workday? Parents want the best for their children. That certainly includes the type of child care they will choose. With this in mind, Trinity Lutheran Church and School has a ministry opportunity to provide care for families searching for the best possible place for their children to grow — most importantly where they can grow in Christ.
Currently Trinity serves close to 100 children daily through our Children’s Center. Thanks to our dedicated and loving staff and volunteers, this ministry is known in our community for its excellence. Our vision is to provide space for this ministry to grow. We believe that it is possible to double the number of children that can be served at the Children’s Center. However, the existing building which houses this ministry is near the end of its life. It is also too small to accommodate the potential growth. A new facility is needed for this vision to become a reality and to further enhance the quality of care we provide. You can Help Us Grow!
God has also put us in a location where there are other opportunities for growth. More and more people are moving into our community with a variety of needs. To support ministries designed to meet the needs of our growing community we will require additional parking, further renovations to the Sanctuary, and increased classrooms and gathering space. You can Help Us Grow!
During the months ahead we will be sharing with you a vision for the next chapter of Trinity Lutheran Church and School’s mission. That mission is to “joyfully share Christ’s saving love with all people, NOW.” I hope you will find yourself challenged, as I have, by the very size of what we believe God has in store for the future. We invite you to join with us in the awesome task at hand. Please pray about how the Lord will use your gifts, talents, and resources to carry out this mission.
Come with us on this journey of growth. Let’s see the impossible be made possible.
“Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you did not do than by the things you did do. So, throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” - Mark Twain
Yours in Christ,
