Our H.U.G. [Help Us Grow] Stewardship initiative is all about reaching more and more people with the love, grace and joy of our risen Savior, Jesus Christ. Here’s a list of what H.U.G. will accomplish for Trinity:

• Doubling the capacity of our Early Childhood Center
  
• Moving our School’s lower grades into the new building 
  
• A new multipurpose room for large gatherings and functions
  
• Expanded parking along Washington Avenue 
  
• Continuing Sanctuary renovation improvements 
  
• Opening up space for new ministries on the church side of Washington Avenue

H.U.G. is a comprehensive effort to move forward the whole spectrum of Trinity’s ministries so that the entire Body of Christ is blessed, strengthened and more able to touch and love others in Jesus.

H.U.G. is for the oldest to the youngest generations as all are more able to come and receive the many blessings of Jesus through our shared ministries. In God’s eyes, we are all His children through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

We hear the words of Jesus, “Let the little children come to Me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” [Matthew 19:14; ESV]

As we get ready to expand parking, continue improving our Sanctuary, double the capacity of our Early Childhood Center, build a large multipurpose room, move the lower grades of our school and open space up for new ministries, let us keep four words in front of us as we pray for the Lord’s blessings for H.U.G. and for all that we do in the name of Jesus:

• Compassion – There are so many more people who are hungry for Jesus that will receive His love on a daily basis as we accomplish the ministry objectives of H.U.G.
  
• Community – There are so many more families who are hungry for Jesus and for genuine fellowship and friendship in Christ who will be blessed as H.U.G. moves forward.
  
• Challenge – Expanding our shared ministries through H.U.G. will call for all of us to get involved and give sacrifi cially to God’s glory as we share Jesus with more and more people.
  
• Commitment – It will be from the outfl ow of our committed hearts that we give, that we build, that we share – our hearts totally committed to Jesus and His love!

We pray:
Lord Jesus, we thank You that we are all Your little children. We hear You tell us to remove any hindrances that would block, stop or make it hard for more children to come to You no matter what their age is. Please bless our church’s efforts as we desire to follow Your vision that many more people hear the Good News and receive Your love by the way You bless and expand all our shared ministries. Give us Your Holy Spirit that with committed hearts we may sacrifi ce and serve and give freely to the Father’s glory as You touch many with Your saving love! This we pray in Your strong name, Jesus; and all God’s people say: Amen.
